Pittsfield sees 13 deed transfers in July, most sale prices not yet recorded
Pittsfield recorded 13 property deeds between July 3 and Aug. 1, but only four had a sale price recorded, ranging from $40,000 to $238,653 with a median of $90,000 among those priced. The month's top recorded transaction was 46 Longfellow Ave at $238,653, involving the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency. Nine of the 13 deeds -- including transfers involving mortgage companies, credit unions and one estate -- carried no price recorded yet, which is typical of registry data but limits how much can be said about overall market conditions this period.
