Pittsfield records 14 deed transfers in September, but prices lag for most

Pittsfield recorded 14 property transfers between Sept. 4 and Oct. 3, but only two carried sale prices by this report: a $190,000 sale of a Marianne Inn Condominium unit on East Housatonic Street to MAA Durga LLC, and a $50,000 sale of 27 Grace Terrace to Lee Bank. The median of those two priced sales is $120,000. The other 12 transfers, including three South Church Street parcels the city of Pittsfield acquired from Clock Tower Partners LLC, have no price on record yet, a normal data lag rather than a sign of hidden terms. With pricing so sparse, the period's overall market tone can't yet be assessed from this data.
