Pittsfield records 12 deeds in past month; disclosed sale prices top out at $308,250
Twelve property deeds were recorded in Pittsfield between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only four disclosed a sale price. Those four ranged from $40,000 to $308,250, with a median of $72,500. The month's top transaction was 83 Elaine Dr., which sold for $308,250 to Freedom Mortgage Corp. and Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. Banks and credit unions appeared as buyer or seller in several other transactions, and one deed reflected a transfer among existing co-owners rather than a sale. With eight of 12 records missing price data, the available figures offer only a partial read on the local market this period.
