Four Pittsfield Property Sales Disclose Prices Among 14 Deed Filings in August
Pittsfield recorded 14 property transfers in the Middle Berkshire Registry of Deeds between July 31 and Aug. 29, 2026, but only four included a disclosed sale price, ranging from $200,200 to $388,000, with a median of $248,125. The month's top transaction was a $388,000 sale on East New Lenox Road, with Westfield Bank listed as buyer. Three transfers listed the City of Pittsfield as buyer, and two properties were sold by the same family, Norman J. and Lois Bessette. Most of the period's recorded filings did not disclose a price, limiting broader conclusions about market conditions.
