Retirement Board approves warrants, disability panel request for school custodian.

Pittsfield Retirement Board unanimously approves $4.1 million in warrants and conference travel. The board, led by Matthew Kerwood with members William Flynn, Timothy Hannigan, Timothy Bartini, and Bonnie Galant, approved seven warrants covering pension payroll of $3.857 million and vendor, federal withholding, and staff payroll expenses of roughly $321,000. Administrator Karen L.
Lancto reported the board also unanimously voted to request a medical panel to review a disability application from School Custodian Jane Wallace, represented by attorney Jaqueline Hartley via teleconference, and approved staff attendance at a Directors/Administrators conference in Martha's Vineyard, April 26-28, 2026, with expense reimbursement within travel guidelines.
