Pittsfield Human Services Advisory Council heard six nonprofit presentations on community services. Chair Rosalind Kopfstein and members listened to reports from Habitat for Humanity's Community Navigator Program (targeting 800 Pittsfield residents, 58 percent minorities), ServiceNet's year-round and warming shelters (serving 140 year-round and 170 overnight residents), Berkshire Bounty's food distribution (240,000 pounds in Pittsfield in 2025), Roots Dreams and Mustard Seeds (380 to 600 monthly families served), George B. Crane's SIOGA Club, and Berkshire Center for Justice's free legal clinics.
