PITTSFIELD — Human Services Advisory Council hears four nonprofit pitches to advance arts and literacy services. Leigh Doherty of the Literacy Network, Jeff Gagnon of Community Access to The Arts, Luke Fitzgerald of Love of T, and Laura Thompson of Berkshire Art Center each presented their missions and proposals to the council. CATA reported serving over 500 Pittsfield residents annually and aims to reach 300 Pittsfield Public School students in 2026 through 550 workshops.
The council met without a quorum: five of eight members present.
