Pittsfield Board of Health suspended a $250 tobacco fine while maintaining the violation on record. The board unanimously approved the suspension for a Mobile Extramart violation discovered March 24 at 115 Dalton Ave, which involved sale of blunt wraps, pricing violations, and an unlocked humidor. Health Director Andy Cambi recommended the suspension given the store's clean violation history.
The board also heard the 2026 Mosquito Control Plan, which featured one new addition: a liquid product for improved coverage of catch basins. The board deferred its vote on the plan, requesting safety data sheets in advance of a June 3 vote.
